When opening a new business, choosing the correct business structure can be confusing but is very important for filing taxes. This section breaks down your business structure options! Learn the differences between Sole Proprietorship, General Business Partnerships , LLC and Non Profit Organizations

Module 4: Naming Your Business

A business name is a very important step in running a successful business. A good business name has power, is memorable, and leaves lasting first impressions. They help define business strategy and target audience. It communicates to the customer what the company Is about. In this module you will learn how to choose a good business name, common mistakes to avoid when choosing a name and ways to research existing names.

As a performer, writing a business plan may not be on the top of your to do list. Below are a few reasons why writing a business plan should actually be on the top of your to do list. But it is one of the most important steps to attaining outside funding for your business. Learn how to write your Executive Summary, Company Overview, Industry Analysis, Competitive Analysis, Products and Services, Marketing Plan, Distribution Plan, Operations Plan, Management Team, and Financial Plan.

Module 9: Funding Your Business

Learn how to attain funding for your small business through the following techniques: Self Funding, Personal Donations, Government Grants, Bank Loans, Crowdfunding, Fiscal Sponsorship, Funding Proposals and Requests

Module 10: Non Profit Organizations

In this module you will earn the steps needed to open a Non Profit Organization (501 C3 Mutual Benefit). You will also learn how to leverage non profit Organizations tax exempt status through Fiscal Sponsorship.

Krystin Railing has been performing Hula Hoops internationally since 2009 and has been showcased at Seaport Village Buskers Festival, the Fringe Festival, and The House of Blues She has performed hula hooping on Norwegian Cruise Lines and has been featured on numerous news programs, late night talk shows, magazines, new papers and blogs for her incredible hula hooping skills. She was on the awards committee for the Hoopie Awards for 5 years and has been nominated for several awards.

Krystin Railing is a world renowned and internationally travelling professional Juggler. She learned to juggle in 2010. She was also the Communications Director for the International jugglers Association in 2019.

Master Fire Manipulator, Krystin Railing is a certified Firewalking Instructor and Empowerment Coach through The Firewalking Center. She is fully insured and covered for fire through Specialty Insurance. She is also certified in Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting through the Southwest Maritime Academy, and has a Fire Safety Certification from The Flow Arts Institute. She has led and produced Firewalks across the country including California, Georgia, and New York.
